LOST.TV - MAYHEM RIDERS AT 2010 TRESTLES WCT

LOST.TV - Chris Davidson, Damien Hobgood, Jordy Smith and Kolohe Andino riding their Mayhem Shapes during the 2010 Trestles WCT.

According to Matt Biolos: Davo and Damo were actually both riding the same rocker I call the SBG (Shortboard Grocket). Literally , about a year ago I started stretching the Grocket into a shortboard by extending the rocker and outline out. It ends up with a board (both of those) at 5'11" with close to 2.5"TR and just under 5'NR. Both are about 18.25/2.25, but Davo's nose is pulled way in (less than 11.5) and Damo's is prob 3/8" wider in the nose. Davo's has a pretty average squash, with wide hip to balance out with the pulled nose. Damo's is more of a consistent even and balanced outline for longer arcs. Davos is taylor made for his tight pocket whips.

Kolohe opted for his R.Pin Scorcher thats 5'11" 18.50" and 2.18". It's a Scorcher rocker where we take the vee out by adding an extra 3/16" TR behind the fins. It gave him clean lines on the face and he was able to toss it above the lip.
